According to Jewish spiritual tradition, the month leading up to the Jewish New Year offers us a unique heightened opportunity for tapping into the divine energies of love, healing, and redemption (tshuva). 

We therefore invite you to join us on Shabbat August 4 for a powerful and auspicious start on our High Holiday journey:  a day of studying and discussing mystical texts (from Hassidic masters, Zohar, and others), contemplative meditations, and chanting.  Metivta is honored to announce that Rabbi Tirzah Firestone will lead this and our High Holiday services this year.
